- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 cups salsa
- 1 cup yellow onion diced
- 3 teaspoons garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- ½ tablespoon cumin
- ¼ cup jalapeño slices
- Cooked rice or tortillas, shredded cheese, salsa, guacamole, and sour cream for serving
- Fresh cilantro for garnish

Place the chicken breasts in an even layer in the bottom of a crockpot.

Add the salt, pepper, salsa, onion, garlic, chili powder, and cumin on top.
